Fourteen years ago, a diagnosis of Hashimoto’s changed the way I understood food, health, and healing. What began as a medical challenge became a deeply personal journey—one that eventually revealed an unexpected truth: my body wasn’t broken; it was reacting to the way our food is made.

After years of living gluten-free (NOT by choice), I discovered that while traveling in Europe—I could enjoy bread, pastries, and wheat without devastating health effects. That moment reshaped everything. I learned that ingredient quality, sourcing, and minimal processing make ALL the difference. 

 

I am proud to say I no longer have Hashimoto's which stemmed from a gluten allergy/intolerance...I should say gluten sensitivity to US processed gluten/soy.  The auto-immune disease they said was incurable was in fact "cured" within 9 months as validated by a 3rd party lab.  Thank you, Dr Karen Sun (The Integrative Wellness Center in Irvine, CA) our family loves you and your staff.

I began importing European flours and premium ingredients for my family, quietly perfecting recipes inspired by traditional European methods. What started at my own kitchen table has grown into a heartfelt passion: sharing artisan-crafted baked goods made with care, intention, and ingredient integrity.

In much of Europe, food is simply enjoyed—without fear or hesitation.  My hope is to bring that same sense of ease, comfort, and joy to your table.

Rooted in my heritage as a descendant of Alice Liddell (the girl that inspired "Alice in Wonderland," I am inspired to create with a spirit of wonder, curiosity, and love—values that guide every recipe and every detail of what we share.
